City of Bayfield Architectural Review Board December 22, 2025, Meeting Minutes 5:00 p.m. • Bayfield City Hall, 125 South First Street, Bayfield, WI 54814 Call to Order Chair Carrier called meeting to order at 5:00 Roll Call Carrier, Cornelius, Bogaard, Spence, and Shrider Approve Agenda Motion to approve by Bogaard/Cornelius. Approved all ayes. Approve Minutes October 27, November 4, and November 17, 2025, Architectural Review Board Meetings Motion to approve all by Cornelius/Bogaard. Approved all ayes. Public Input None Agenda 1. Fence Permit #03-2025: Bayfield Inn 20 Rittenhouse Avenue Motion to approve as presented by Bogaard/Shrider. Approved all ayes. 2. Non-traditional Construction Ordinance discussion regarding future Non-Traditional Construction Permits to be submitted to the Plan Commission for approval. 3. Permit Categories Discussion regarding administration of following permits: Maintenance, Zoning and Building permits to be administered by Zoning Administrator with Nomination and Certificate of Appropriateness to be administered by HPC. 4. Fees and Fines Discussion to be moved forward to the next meeting. 5. Transitioning to Historical Preservation Commission (HPC) a. Interim Appointees to HPC Current ARB members to HPC b. Publishing list of “Significant Structures” Discussion. No publication c. Proceedures Discussion regarding the handling of Structures to be Demolished. 6. Hand-off to Plan Commission Discussion regarding additional responsibilities for Plan Commission. 7. City Dock Project Public Involvement Notice only 8.
