AD HOC BUSINESS PARK PLANNING MEETING
Item 2: This advisory committee has not met in two years. Some of the members have changed.
Election of new officers is needed.
Item 4: I am searching for minutes to this last meeting. Will share once I locate them
Item 5: The business park now has the following tenants:
• Superior Sauna
• St. Izz’s Acres
• Bayfield Foods Cooperative
• KV Build
• Ritola
• Xcel Energy (Lease, 2 years remaining)
Item 6: The second half of Arganbright Road is under construction. The County received
funding ($150k) through the Wisconsin DOT for a part of the project based on new job creation.
Total project cost, $500k.
Ritola Inc was awarded the project after competitive bidding (5 bidders). Construction
commenced in late July and is underway now. The project should be completed by end of the
summer. The project includes connecting the road to Highway 137 and construction of a
rainwater detention pond per DOT specifications. Following DOT requirements will make us
eligible for a future project, ie: paving.
Item 7: Xcel is leasing 12 acres on the corner of State Farm and Arganbright Road. Their lease
expires in summer of 2028.
Item 8. The Business Park sign is listing to one side. We have contacted the contractor that built
the sign and they will take a look at it.
