K:\Agendas and Minutes\Transportation Coord Committee\TCC Minutes\TCC minutes 2026\2026-7-21 TCC meeting minutes - draft 2 will probably be the beginning of next year due to issues with the previous manufacturer. Once the new company get the purchase order, it will take six months. • Watters-Moffitt stated that we had earmarked money from our DOT trust fund to help with the cost of the electric bus. Watters-Moffitt confirmed that she was. • Rosa asked if the TCC only dealt with public transportation or was medically related transportation included as well. Watters-Moffitt replied that it was only public transportation. Rosa added that it would be nice to have transportation alternatives for weekend or night driving. She asked how to advocate for that? Daoust stated that the cost needs to be justified. Does it take away from other resources and is it fiscally responsible. He added that there are possibly funds available, but it will not cover the full cost, so the remaining fees will need to be covered by another entity. • Daoust stated that a large part of the problem is a lack of education about the public transportation system. Rosa asked if there was any funding available for education. Watters-Moffitt said she will investigate it. • Daoust asked if there could be discussion at the next meeting about dealing with two consumers who needed transport to separate facilities on the same days of the week.
