BOR (Board of Review) — Minutes

VILLAGE OF CAMERON BOARD OF REVIEW June 6, 2025 The Board of Review for the Village of Cameron was held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Cameron Village Hall, beginning at 9 :00am. Members present: Russ Hulback, Steve Johnson , Ardith Story , and Village assessor William Koepp. Chairman Hulback opened the meeting at 9:00 am. Russ Hulback was selected as chairperson. Clerk Story was selected as BOR Vice -Chairperson. It was verified by Clerk Story that Russell Hulback has met the mandatory training requirements under state law. No value was made by the assessor using the income method. The assessment roll was duly received. The roll was examined, and no errors were found at open book. This was verified on the assessment roll prior to this Board of Review meeting. T here were no written Objection to Real Property Assessment received. Clerk Story indicated all proper publications were completed, no written objections were received, and the clerk is not aware of any assessment erroneous errors. Clerk Story made a motion that the Assessor’s valuation is correct, and that the Assessor presented evidence of the fair market value of the subject property using assessment methods which conform to the statutory requirements. Steve Johnson second the motion. A roll call vote was taken: Ardith S tory – Yes, Steve Johnson – Yes and Russ Hulback – Yes. No one presented to the Board of Review and the BOR was closed. At 11:05 Russ Hulback closed the BOR. As there were no other objections, at 11:05 a.m. Steve Johnson moved to adjourn the Board of Review. Submitted by, Ardith Story, Village Clerk-Treasurer
