Finance Committee — Minutes

Finance & Licensing Committee Minutes August 4, 2026 Present: Bill Lussier, Kelly Cady, Doris Laursen, Jim Anderson, Mayor Shoemaker, Arlene Frisinger, and Randy Reeg. Lussier called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. The meeting was properly advertised, all interested parties were notified. A motion was made by Laursen, seconded by Cady, to approve the Finance & Licensing Committee Meeting minutes of July 6, 2026, Finance Committee meeting. Motion carried. Monthly Financial Report was given. A motion was made by Laursen, seconded by Anderson, to recommend to council for approval the administration fees for invoices regarding ordinance violations. Motion carried. A motion was made by Laursen, seconded by Cady, to recommend to council Resolution 2026-07-6 A Resolution to Amend the Cumberland Municipal Court Fees. Motion carried. Discussion regarding the potential of changing platforms for online utility billing payments and customer account management. More information is needed. No action taken.
