COMMON COUNCIL MINUTES June 26, 2026 The Common Council of the City of Cumberland met on Friday, June 26, 2026, 10:00 A.M., at the Cumberland City Hall, 950 1st Avenue. Mayor Shoemaker called the Common Council to order at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall. The meeting was properly advertised, and all interested parties were notified. These alderpersons were present S. Anderson, J. Anderson, Lussier, Schullo, Cady, Goldsmith, and Laursen. Absent: Michael Cifaldi. Others present were other citizens. A motion was made by Laursen, seconded by Schullo, to approve Ordinance 2026-824 An Ordinance Creating Section 9.1585 Regulating Boat or Vessel Prohibition Areas. Motion carried. A motion was made by Lussier, seconded by Goldsmith, to approve Resolution 2026-06-5 Resolution Declaring Official Intent to Reimburse Expenditures from Proceeds of Borrowing. Motion carried. A motion was made by Laursen, seconded by S. Anderson, to approve the Court Clerk wages at $18 per hour. Motion carried.
