Public Safety Committee June 24, 2026 The Public Safety Committee of the City of Cumberland met on Wednesday, June 24, 2025, 10:00 A.M., at the Cumberland City Hall, 950 1st Avenue. Mayor Shoemaker called the Public Safety Committee to order at 10:00 am at City Hall. The meeting was properly advertised, and all interested parties were notified. The committee members present were Mayor Shoemaker, Anderson, Schullo and Laursen. Others present were Chief Wolfe, Arlene Frisinger, and other citizenry. A motion was made by Laursen, seconded by Schullo, to approve May 20, 2026, meeting minutes. Motion carried. Discussion regarding Flock cameras. No action was taken at this time. Chief Wolfe gave information regarding the controls of release of information from the CUPD Flock cameras. Checking into the terms of termination from Flock and looking into the cost of using Axon. No action taken. Discussion regarding open containers and outdoor consumption of alcohol. No action taken. Chief Update Interviews will be on July 1st.
