City of Cumberland Parks and Rec Committee Meeting Minutes Parks and Rec Committee meeting, Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the City Hall. The members present were Michael Cifaldi, Jim Schullo, Jim Anderson and Steve Anderson. Also, present was Arlene Frisinger, Mayor Shoemaker, Nick Nelson, and Randy Reeg. A motion was made by S. Anderson, seconded by Schullo, to approve May 19, 2026, Parks & Rec Committee meeting minutes. Motion carried. A motion was made by J. Anderson, seconded by Schullo, to approve May 26, 2026, Parks & Rec Committee meeting minutes. Motion carried. A motion was made by Schullo, seconded by J. Anderson, to approve June 2, 2026, Parks & Rec Committee meeting minutes. Motion carried. A motion was made by S. Anderson, seconded by J. Anderson, to approve June 9, 2026, Parks & Rec Committee meeting minutes. Motion carried. A motion was made by Schullo, seconded by J. Anderson, to approve June 16, 2026, Parks & Rec Committee meeting minutes. Motion carried. A motion was made by J. Anderson, seconded by Schullo, to approve the quote from Branching Out Tree Service, LLC in the amount of $4,100. Motion carried. Discussion regarding regulation in the cemetery regarding flowers and other items. No action taken and will be brought back to the July meeting. Discussion regarding the purchase of Columbarium benches. It was decided to go ahead and order two benches. Discussion regarding Parks Master Planning with pavilion updates.
