Public Comment: None II. Minutes a. Regular Library Board Meeting June 16th, 2026: Motion by Mary to approve, second by Monique, All Ayes, Motion Carried. b. Special Board Meeting Minutes June 3rd, 2026: Motion by Kerrey to approve, second by Ellen, All Ayes, Motion Carried. III. Financials a. Sign the Directors Timesheets: Motion by Mary to approve and sign, second by Monique, All Ayes, Motion Carried. b. Approve Vouchers Elan Financials Credit Card $1179.28 includes Adobe, Amazon, Google, Bookshop & Walmart Apostle Island Cruises $1590.00 Hilary Olander Quamme/ Xtool Reimbursement $1600.00 Arrow Lift (Elevator) $1156.00 Sterling Computer $197.45 Heart Graphics $728.00 New York Times $224.00 Norvado $395.12 Madeline Sanitary District $141.00 Paul Karpinski Reimbursement Summer Rec $68.97 Motion by Monique to approve as presented, second by Ellen, All Ayes, Motion Carried. c. Review 2027 Budget : Lauren presented a similar budget to 2026, no big changes to general budget, possible an additional capital improvement for flooring on the first floor to replace current carpet squares, and interior painting. IV. Library Board Members a. Welcome Ellen Troeltzsch: Welcome to the Library Board! Will be looking for one more Board Member with the departure of Peggy Ross. V. Directors Report Budget 2027 work. Skate Park Project is being advertised including on Instagram, Lauren has been working on the Project plans etc. Door counter logistics and statistics. Update on automatic doors : The Town Board approved to cover the additional costs associated with the door installation and electrical. VII. Ongoing Projects a. Strategic Plan i. Community Center Collaborative: The first meeting went well and was positive, but did not have the attendance Lauren was hoping for. Lauren working on creating the new 501(c) 3 for the collaborative. And will schedule another meeting. b. Friends Circle i. Friends Report: Report submitted by Helen Roland. VIII. Future Agenda Items: 2027 capital improvements and budget, new board member, door counter metrics, Adjourn: Motion by Kerrey to adjourn, second by Mary, All Ayes, Motion Carried. Adjourned at 4:42pm.
