Library Board Meeting June 16, 2026 Page 1 of 2 REGULAR LIBRARY BOARD MEETING Tuesday June 16th. 2026 5:00 PM Meeting Zoom/ Second Floor Library Minutes Members present: Peggy Ross, Marilyn Hartig, Monique Darton, Mary Whittaker Members absent: Paula Wurst, Kerrey Andreas, Mike Peterson Staff present: Lauren Schuppe, Library Director Meeting Called to order at 5:02pm by Peggy Ross I. Public Comment: None II. Minutes a. Regular Library Board Meeting May 19th, 2026: Motion by Marilyn to approve minutes as presented, second by Mary, all in favor, Motion Carried. III. Financials a. Sign the Directors Timesheets: Motion by Mary to approve timesheets, second by Monique, all in favor, Motion Carried. b. Approve Vouchers Elan Financials Card Services $550.66 Includes $249.95 for L&M, $137.13 for Adobe, $21.00 for Google, and $142.58 for Quill) Damage $1190.95 CA Nelson & Son $355.00 Norvado $395.29 NY Times $112.00 Motion by Marilyn to approve vouchers as presented, second by Monique, all in favor, Motion Carried. IV. Library Board Members a. Consider Library Board Applicants and Recommend: Ellen Troeltzsch submitted an application. Motion by Monique to recommend Ellen Troeltzsch to the Library Board, second by Mary, all in favor, Motion Carried. And a special Thank You! to Marilyn Hartig who will be leaving the Board. V. Directors Report The Summer Rec program has begun! The first day went well. Lauren will now be focusing on Community Center Project, Skate Park, and internal Library stuff. VI. Personnel a. Review Lease with Barbara With for Summer Recreation Assistant Housing: Just two nights/ week, $800 total for the summer. Motion by Marilyn to approve the lease, second my Mary, all in favor, Motion Carried. VII. Building Maintenance a. Review Automatic Door Installation Quotes: Door quote remains the same with the addition of an electrical quote. Town Board to review. Library Board Meeting June 16, 2026 Page 2 of 2 b. Skate Park Project Update: Lauren has been in contact with someone to draw up what the new skate park could look like. The Summer Rec program will be doing skate camp again this summer. VIII. Ongoing Projects a. Strategic Plan i. Community Center Collaborative: Lauren emailed all chairs and contacts of local nonprofits, small businesses, collaborative groups, etc. Each individual Board will discuss at their own board meetings then there will be a collaborative meeting in early July to further discuss. b. Friends Circle i. Friends Report: Nothing at this time. IX.
