Page 1 of 2 pages Town of La Pointe Affordable Housing Advisory Committee Thursday May 14, 2026 5:00 pm Town Hall/Zoom Minutes Members present: Jim Peters, Samantha Dobson, Lois Carlson, John Nielsen, Jackie Noha Members absent: Mark Pass, Kaesha Baloch and Michael Kuchta Staff present: Max Imholte, Town Administrator 1. Call to Order/Roll Call Meeting called to order by Lois. 2. Public Comment – none 3. Minutes of the following meetings to be considered for approval: A. April 9, 2026 Motion by Sam to approve the minutes, seconded by Jim, all ayes. Motion Carried. 4. Revamped google docs page status Sam stated the google doc folder is set up , she e-mailed the link to committee members. 5. Community Survey John drafted a survey for committee to review/discuss. John will edit and add a deadline of 6/18. Sam will create a google survey. 6. Upcoming community planning meeting A. Meeting structure – moderator Possibly the WHEDA Emerging Land Fellow? B. Key questions to consider C. Updates to Northland Survey Max will coordinate the use of the Emergency Services Building for the 6/22 meeting. 7. Utility cost baseline for site development 1. Cost for sewer, water, clearing and other infrastructure (Max) 2. Road site clearing/Melin well Drilling costs (Sam) 3. Xcel costs for set-up (Jim) 4. Norvado contacts (Jim) 5. Solar possibilities Jim & John will work on a rough cost draft for next meeting. 8. Pennelys Droz 1. land Trust Mechanixm Report 2. Sam noted that the Town Board is looking for committees to give an update/presentation. Max will put the summary of Act 235 (Tax Increment Districts) that Michael Kuchta shared. 10.
