a. Parking on the Road / No Parking Sign Ordinance – There was discussion how the
roads around the lakes are narrow, therefore making it hard or impossible for emergency
vehicles to get through and that there would needing to be an Ordinance drafted by an attorney.
It would need to state that vehicles must park on the property owner’s property and not the
right-away. The roads would have to be designated in the Ordinance. Spitler stated that the
current parking ordinance is not clear. Adam Kelley questioned about no parking on all town
roads, as there are snow plowing issues to also consider. There are lots of issues to consider,

enough room for all the brush. Chase & Behnke want an estimate from Blader before pickup.
Adam Kelley stated he has a large area on Townline Road that he would allow Town of
Marion residents to bring their brush to for no charge. Kelley said he was trying to help the
Town clean up at no cost to the Town. The Board told him that they appreciated the offer.
