This is when dispatch receives a certain number of calls from the same residence within 120 days. Fraud cases have been reported around Silver Lake, where a contractor was paid to do work and never completed the job. There were no fireworks complaints and the Sheriff’s Department did not witness any problems. Someone broke into the locked boxes at Kline’s and Mae’s boat landings, snipping the locks and stealing the cash. Deputy Weber will put out an email to other Deputies working night shifts. A motion was made by Supervisor Behnke to approve 4 Operator’s Licenses for Goland, Transgrud, Dudek and Eagan. The motion was seconded by Supervisor Chase. Motion carried. COMPLAINTS People have been using the beach at Little Hills to launch their boats rather than the boat launch. We may have to put a post rail in using American Rescue Plan funds. Chairman Walejko believes the town should blacktop the entire landing and parking lot at Spring Lake. There would be diagonal lines to park in for boat trailers and cars. We are also looking at how to expand the parking at Fox Tail Point and have diagonal parking there too, but we would need 8 feet of wall. Brian Freimark from Waushara County will be getting a quote for this. Supervisor Chase indicated it will cost $1,500 to $3,000 to do a fish survey if a lake hasn’t had one done. Little Hills and Silver Lake already have both their surveys completed. Since STH 73 is a State Highway and not a town road, we cannot do anything to change the problem with people parking along either side of that road. A swim raft floated to the Irogami boat landing and no one has claimed it. The town will take it out at the end of the season and sell it if it is not claimed. APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF CURRENT BILLS was motioned by Supervisor Behnke and seconded by Supervisor Chase. Motion carried. Supervisor Chase made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Supervisor Behnke. Motion carried. Vicki Snyder, Clerk Town of Marion
