LHLMD Meeting Minutes Feb 17, 2024 Present: Excused: Neal Nett, Julie Diermeier, Tom Stoddard, Tom DeMeyer, Carl Veenendaal Dave Chase, John Jarvis Next meeting: TBD Call to Order @ 9:20 Approval of Oct 14, 2023 Financial Report: Current Balance $31,996.98 A motion by Tom Stoddard to adopt a resolution concerning voting, balloting, and noticing practices with reference to the riparian parcels owned by "Hidden Pines" and "Deer Lake" property owners (see attached resolution in LHLMD file or 'additional documents' on town of Marion website)." Motion seconded by Tom DeMeyer. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Tom Stoddard motioned to authorize a fish order for yellow perch (4-6 inches) and black crappie (3-5 inches) to stock the lake this spring at a cost of up to $7500. Motion seconded by Neal Nett. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Adjourned 10:30 Summary: Tom Stoddard volunteered to contact Patty Staaden to provide fiscal review. Revisit Cason milfoil survey for 2025 at the 2024 4th quarter meeting.
