MINUTES Meeting of the Town of Marion Town Board March 9, 2023 The March 9, 2023 meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the Town of Marion was called to order by Supervisor Chase at 7:00 p.m. at the Marion Town Hall. Present: Supervisor Dave Chase, Supervisor Bill Behnke, Clerk Vicki Snyder, Treasurer Karen Savignac, Deputy Sheriff Adam Weber, Katherine Bogdanoff, Leonard Narus. A motion to approve the minutes of the February 9, 2023 meeting was made by Supervisor Behnke and seconded by Supervisor Chase. Motion carried. REPORTS Treasurer’s Report The bank numbers were unavailable due to Hometown Bank transferring over to Bankfirst. Supervisor Chase asked Treasurer Karen Savignac to present March’s report at the next Town Board meeting on April 20. Deputy Sheriff’s Report There was a big up-tick in weather related crashes during the month of February. An alcohol related vehicle crash with injuries occurred on Hwy. 73. PUBLIC COMMENTS Residents of Spring Lake, Katherine Bogdanoff and Leonard Narus, would like to have some direction as to short-term rentals on their lake. Supervisor Chase indicated Chairman Walejko is aware of the matter and will address their concerns when he returns. APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF CURRENT BILLS was motioned by Supervisor Behnke and seconded by Supervisor Chase. Motion carried. Supervisor Behnke made a motion to adjourn.
