Ordinance Committee Meeting — Minutes

Village of Wild Rose Ordinance Committee Meeting Thursday September 17, 2026 The meeting called to order at 8:58 a.m. Present: Chair Mary Pilz, Trustee John Eilers, Trustee Craig Szymborski, President Tim Ganzel and Lindsey Inda Village Clerk/Treasurer. The committee reviewed the City of Neenah’s ordinances for designated outdoor beverage areas and asked P/Ganzel how he envisioned this would benefit the Village. The committee likes the idea and the City of Neenah’s ordinance, but feels some changes need to be made to make it work for the Village. T/Pilz and Lindsey Inda will work at revising the ordinance to fit the needs of the Village and present it to the full board upon completion. The committee reviewed the fence ordinance particularly the portion referencing fences in front yards. They felt it made sense to review requests for front yard fences on a one-on-one basis through the variance process and not do a complete revision to the ordinance. The committee reviewed the fence request from Janice Eagan. T/Szymborski seconded by T/Eilers made a motion to direct Lindsey Inda to contact Janice Eagan and inform her she will need to apply for a variance and walk her through the process. Motion carried.
