Special Board Meeting — Minutes

Special Board Meeting Thursday September 17, 2026 The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Present: P/Tim Ganzel, T/Craig Szymborski, T/Jody Jansen, T/Tom Lauritzen, T/John Eilers, and Lindsey Inda (Village Clerk/Treasurer). T/Yeska absent P/Ganzel requested the addition of: Discussion and Possible Action: Application for Tobacco License by Liberty Square Gas Station dba Refuel Pantry – Wild Rose. T/Eilers seconded by T/Pilz made a motion to approve the agenda as amended. Motion carried. T/Pilz seconded by T/Szymborski made a motion to approve the relinquishment of a Class “A” Beer and “Class A” Liquor License from Depot Street Station, LLC dba Wild Rose C Store. Motion carried. T/Jansen seconded by T/Eilers made a motion to approve the Class “A” Beer and “Class A” Liquor License for Liberty Square Gas Station dba Refuel Pantry – Wild Rose. Motion carried. T/Szymborski seconded by T/Jansen made a motion to approve the Operator’s License for Mellisa Jacobson. Motion carried. T/Jansen seconded by T/Eilers made a motion to approve the Temporary Class “B” Beer License for Wild Rose Area Fire District. Motion carried. T/Pilz seconded by T/Szymborski made a motion to approve the Tobacco License for Liberty Square Gas Station dba Refuel Pantry – Wild Rose. Motion carried. Chief Paul Mott and City Administrator Tommy Bohler of the City of Wautoma presented an opportunity to combine police departments utilizing the Innovation Grant from the State of Wisconsin. T/Jansen seconded by T/Eilers made a motion to request a sample contract from the City of Wautoma to combine police services. Motion carried.
