Wild Rose Days Planning Committee Meeting Minutes - July 15, 2026 Our Mission Statement: To create a self-sustaining, affordable family festival, which involves the whole community, bringing everyone together. Present: Tara Anderson, Izzy Acello, Kent Barnard, Mary Pilz, Dave Przekurat, Elizabeth Reynolds, Jane Erickson The meeting was called to order at 5:25 by Tara Anderson. Information from the Village - No new information at this meeting. Secretary/Financial Information - No donations since the last meeting. Secretary is working with the Village Clerk regarding bills to be paid and the money/change needs for our event. All permits have been obtained. Items for Discussion Parade – Parade entries continue to come in. Kent will provide the parade announcer with information about Susie Apps Bodilly and Jerry Apps. Elizabeth will provide the Trivia sheets to the announcer (Mary Kunasch) as fill-in information during the parade. Layout – Remaining decisions will be made during set-up on July 23. V olunteers – Most volunteer spots have been filled, but more help is always welcome. Tent set-up will begin at 7 A.M. on July 23; football players will be helping with some set-up activities. Jerry Apps Tributes – Elizabeth will have sufficient numbers of youth and adult trivia sheets available during the picnic/concert on July 24 and at the park on the 25th. Kent will provide pencils.
