Wild Rose Days Planning Committee Meeting Minutes - June 24, 2026 Present: Tara Anderson, Dave Przekurat, Mary Pilz, Pete Duesterbeck, Amanda Jalensky, Elizabeth Reynolds, Kent Barnard, Becky Hansen, Jane Erickson Welcome and Call to Order – The meeting was called to order at 5:30 by Tara Anderson at Roberts Park. Information from the Village – No new information Secretary/Financial Update – Information provided about recent donors. Items for Discussion 1. Layout – We discussed some minor changes in the Pavilion that will allow easy viewing of the Jerry Apps tributes. The beer “tent” will be in the Gazebo on July 25. Jim & Nancy will have a new location. 2. Jerry Apps Tributes – We will place tables against the side wall of the Pavilion to hold items for viewing. Elizabeth is creating trivia/information sheets about Jerry for adults and children. Kent will provide pencils. 3. Book Giveaway – Amanda will follow up with Melissa at WTS about book donations. Kent will use $250 from our anonymous donor to purchase children's books by Jerry Apps for the book giveaway and may use the other half of the donation to purchase books for older children (chapter books, series books). 4. Server Licensing – We have identified potential servers who are Village employees and contacted them. Requests for the Village license are due to Lindsey by June 26, to be ready for the July 1 Board meeting. 5. Prices – Final determination of prices will be done at the next meeting. Jane will confirm food/beverage costs from Benny's and Stoneridge. 6. Other - Robbie Jansen has confirmed that he will be able to do the usual preparations for Wild Rose Days We really appreciate all he does!
