Ordinance Committee Meeting — Minutes

Village of Wild Rose Ordinance Committee Meeting Tuesday March 31, 2026 The meeting called to order at 10:55 a.m. Present: Chair Mary Pilz, Trustee John Eilers, Trustee Craig Szymborski, Lindsey Inda Village Clerk/Treasurer and Nathan Klapoetke Chief of Police. Mary presented a draft ordinance for Tobacco Product Sales, Use and Possession. T/Eilers seconded by T/Szymborski made a motion to approve the ordinance draft with some minor wording changes. Motion carried. The attached Ordinance #2026-01 is the recommendation of the committee to the Village Board. The committee discussed the request from Chief Klapoetke to raise the general ordinance fee (1-1-8). T/Eilers seconded by T/Szymborski made a motion to increase the general ordinance fee to $250.00. Motion carried. The request will go to public hearing prior to discussion and action by the Village Board.
