Regular Board Meeting — Minutes

VILLAGE OF WILD ROSE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING FEBRUARY 4, 2026 APPROVED MINUTES – 3/4/2026 President Ganzel called the meeting to order at 7:00pm at Village of Wild Rose Village Hall, 500 Main St, Wild Rose, WI 54984 Present: P/Tim Ganzel, T/Mary Pilz, T/Craig Szymborski, T/Hansen Jr, T/Steve Yeska, and T/John Eilers. Also present: Clerk-Treasurer Lindsey Inda and Police Chief Nathan Klapoetke. T/Tom Lauritzen absent. Agenda: T/Pilz seconded by T/Eilers made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried. Public Comment: No members of the public requested comment with the board. Consent Agenda: T/Yeska seconded by T/Szymborski made a motion to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. Items included: approval of minutes: Caucus January 7, 2026; Regular Board Meeting January 7, 2026; and Wild Rose Days Committee Meeting January 14, 2026; payment of General Fund bills in the amount of $221,399.06, payment of Sewer Utility bills in the amount of $6,230.72. Motion carried. Reports: Chief Klapoetke provided the January police report. Lindsey Inda presented the year-end report for the joint municipal court. T/Pilz provided the library report and presentation of upcoming library events. T/Eilers provided the fire report. T/Szymborski requested follow up and enforcement of snow removal on sidewalks. Old Business: No new building permits were requested. The Spring Election ballot order was presented. Open Committee seats were tabled until the March 4 Regular Board Meeting. New Business: T/Pilz seconded by T/Szymborski made a motion to approve the proposal from BG & Associates to continue administration of the CDBG program after closeout. Motion carried. T/Yeska seconded by T/Eilers made a motion to approve the refund of 2025 utilities to Wild Rose Historical Society in the amount of $325.75. Motion carried.
