Executive Committee Meeting — Minutes

Executive Committee Meeting October 28, 2025 Meeting called to order at 9:00 am Those in attendance: Tim Ganzel, John Eilers, Tom Lauritzen, and Lindsey Inda. Lindsey provided the preliminary budget for review. Final revenue figures were provided and the tax levy was discussed. Final numbers are still pending for health insurance, so Lindsey included an estimated 15% rate increase. Lindsey presented a proposal from Workhorse for a cemetery module for digitizing records. T/Lauritzen seconded by T/Eilers made a motion to MOVE TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION PER WI STATS 19.85(1)(C): Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE 2026. Voice Vote: T/Lauritzen, T/Eilers and P/Ganzel, aye. Motion carried. T/Eilers seconded by T/Lauritzen MOVE TO RETURN INTO OPEN SESSION Voice Vote: T/Lauritzen, T/Eilers and P/Ganzel, aye. Motion carried. DISCUSSION DURING CLOSED SESSION – Wage and benefit packages were discussed for Lindsey Inda, Robert Jansen, Greg Ida and Nathan Klapoetke. MOTIONS MADE DURING CLOSED SESSION – T/Lauritzen seconded by T/Eilers made a motion to increase 2026 wages by 5% for Lindsey Inda, Robert Jansen, Greg Ida and Nathan Klapoetke and library staff to be increased per library budget approval by Library Board. Motion carried. The 2026 budget summary will be presented to the Village Board for publication approval at the November regular board meeting.
