Ordinance Committee Meeting — Minutes

Village of Wild Rose Ordinance Committee Meeting Tuesday October 7, 2025 Meeting called to order @ 10:00 a.m. Present: Trustee Jon Eilers, Trustee Craig Szymborski, Trustee Mary Pilz and Clerk/Treasurer Lindsey Inda. The purpose of the meeting was to review the Fire Code and Inspection Ordinance received from Fire Chief Allen Luchini is requesting to be adopted. T/Pilz noted the verbiage of supervisors be changed to Trustees. T/Eilers questioned the whether the violation fees were adequate. At this time Police Chief Nate Klapoetke joined the meeting. He was not positive as to what could be charged and who would get the payment. He then called Fire Chief Al Luchini and put him on speaker phone. Clerk/Treasurer Inda expressed the legality of changing the fee schedule. When Police Chief writes an Ordinance violation it is for $187.00 with no sliding scale. It was agreed that the Village attorney would have to clarify. Chief Klapoetke stated he had sent this ordinance to the Village attorney a couple weeks ago, but has not heard back and neither had Clerk/Treas. Inda. Lindsey will again contact the attorney for clarification. It was agreed Chair that until that information is received the committee cannot move forward and will have to meet again hen information is received. With no further business A Motion from t/Eilers; 2nd by T/Szymborski to adjourn the meeting.
