Regular Board Meeting — Minutes

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: P/Ganzel, T/Pilz, T/Szymborski, T/Hansen Jr, T/Lauritzen, T/Yeska and T/Eilers. Agenda: T/Pilz seconded by T/Szymborski moved to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried. The following people were present desiring audience with the board: Dylan Testin discussed the Haunted Hike Hay Ride and the Holiday Parade. Dylan also presented the Village with a donation of $1000 on behalf of Old Fashioned Fest 2025. Minutes: T/Eilers seconded by T/Szymborski made a motion to approve the following minutes: Regular Board Meeting September 3, 2025; Executive Committee Meeting September 23, 2025; Combined Street/Sewer Committee Meeting September 24, 2025; and Executive Committee Meeting September 30, 2025. Motion carried. Police Report: Stats from previous month were presented. Street & Sewer Greg Ida was introduced. The conditional approval of the multi-discharge variance for phosphorus was reviewed. Millpond, Parks & Cemetery There were no meeting updates. Garbage, Industrial Parks & Airport T/Lauritzen stated that the Airport Association was working on insuring hangars are being used to store airplanes and not just used as a storage shed. Library & Community Center T/Pilz provided an update on library programs and circulation. Fire Report T/Eilers provided an update on the last WRAFD meeting. T/Eilers presented the WRAFD 2026 budget. Updates The building permit spreadsheet was presented. Nominations for open Committee positions was tabled until the Regular Board Meeting November 5, 2025. The Annual HVAC Maintenance report from Weiss Heating and Cooling was presented. Information regarding the discontinuation of the local CDBG program was presented. New Business: T/Lauritzen seconded by T/Eilers made a motion to approve Resolution 2025-06 Designating Waushara County as the Collection Official for Dog Licenses. Voice Vote: T/Pilz, aye; T/Szymborski, aye; T/Hansen Jr, aye ; T/Lauritzen, aye ; T/Yeska, aye ; T/Eilers, aye ; and P/Ganzel, aye. Motion carried. T/Yeska seconded by T/Pilz made a motion to approve the Temporary “Class B” Wine and Temporary Class “B” Beer License for Wild Rose Ski Club’s event October 18, 2025. Motion carried. T/Pilz seconded by T/Eilers made a motion to approve the Operator’s Licenses for Ashley Caves and Mariah Waltz. Motion carried. T/Yeska seconded by T/Lauritzen made a motion to approve the WRAFD 2026 budget. Motion carried. Bills & Finance Report: T/Pilz seconded by T/Szymborski, moved to approve Village checks #45588-45641; and Sewer checks #7204-7211. Motion carried.
