Street/Sewer Committee Meeting — Minutes

Village of Wild Rose Street/Sewer Committees Meeting Tuesday August 19, 2025 The meeting called to order at 5:30 p.m. Present: T/Lauritzen, Street Committee Chair, T/Yeska, T/Pilz, Sewer Committee Chair, and Robbie Jansen, Street and Sewer Supervisor. A motion from T/Yeska;2nd by T/Lauritzen to move into closed session per WI STATS 19.85 (1)(C): Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Voice Vote: T/Yeska, aye, T/Lauritzen, aye, T/Pilz, aye. Motion carried. In closed session, the first applicant was interviewed at 6:30p.m., the second at 7:15p.m. and the third at 8:00p.m. All three applicants were asked the same questions and were allowed to asked any questions they had with regard to the position. When asked about benefits, Robbie gave some general answers and Mary explained that the candidate that was chosen tonight would be recommended to the Executive Committee and they would contact with an offer with full explanation of salary and benefits. All three applicants interviewed very well and Robbie felt he could work with any one of them. After weighing each candidate’s pros and cons, it was a unanimous decision on who to recommend to the Executive Committee. A motion from T/Lauritzen to recommend Greg Ida to the Executive Committee to be hired. 2nd by T /Yeska. Motion carried. A motion by T/Yeska to return to open session; 2nd by T/Lauritzen to return to open session. Voice Vote: T/Yeska, aye, T/Lauritzen, aye, T/Pilz aye. Motion carried. A motion from T/Lauritzen;2nd by T/Yeska to recommend Greg Ida for the maintenance position to the Executive Committee. Motion carried. With no further business, A motion by T/Yeska; 2nd by T/Lauritzen to adjourn.
