Wild Rose Days Planning Committee Meeting Minutes, Tuesday, July 1, 2025 Our Mission Statement: To create a self-sustaining, affordable family festival, which involves the whole community, bringing everyone together. Present: Tara Anderson, Dave Przekurat, Elizabeth Reynolds, Kent Barnard, Dan Arndt, Pete Duesterbeck, Mary Pilz, Jane Erickson Welcome and Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6 P.M. by Tara Anderson. The minutes from the June 25 meeting and tonight's agenda were reviewed and approved. Secretary/Financial Update: We have received new donations from The County Cupboard and Carpet Craftsmen. New total for 2025 donations received is $16,727.00. Jane will pick up cash boxes from school this week and will turn in the signed Bleacher Liability Waiver to the school. Items for Discussion V olunteers – As always, more volunteers are needed. V olunteers for the Food Stand should contact Dan Arndt and others should contact Tara. Some of the volunteer opportunities include monitoring bouncy activities, the prize table, front gate, and set-up/take-down of tents and equipment. Raffle Tickets – The gun raffle is being handled by the Legion, but we are encouraged to sell raffle tickets, at $10 each. Advertising – Tara will place a paid quarter-page ad in the Resorter and a smaller ad in the Argus. A free, full-page advertisement will be in the Resorter in a different issue. Food – The refrigerated trailer will be borrowed again from Wautoma Kiwanis, for a donation of $100. It will be picked up on Thursday, July 24. Wild Rose Kiwanis will use their two Blackstone grills for our event – thank you Kiwanis! Group Photo for newspaper - Done Next Meeting Date: July 9, 2025 at 5:30 in the Community Center.
