Street Committee Meeting — Minutes

Street Committee Meeting Tuesday May 6, 2025 Call to order – Those in attendance, Tom Lauritzen - chair, Mary Pilz, Steve Yeska, Robbie Jansen, Doug Jirik and Lindsey Inda. Meeting called to order at 10:00 am. The committee reviewed 2 estimates from Hudziak Excavating for repairs to Sewer Lagoon Road. One bid was to use recycled asphalt/concrete while the other bid was for limestone. The committee agreed that limestone, although the higher estimate, would last longer and would be more cost effective in the long run. The committee also discussed that since Sewer Lagoon Road is a private road utilized as a driveway to the sewer plant, funds to fix the road should come from the sewer budget and not the street budget. T/Pilz seconded by T/Yeska made a motion to approve the limestone estimate for $10,220 to be paid from the sewer budget to fix Sewer Lagoon Road. Motion carried. The committee will present the approval to the Village Board at the regular board meeting on May 7, 2025. Meeting adjourned at 10:16 am. Respectfully Submitted Lindsey Inda Village Clerk/Treasurer
