September 19, 2025 Special Meeting Minutes (PDF)

Town of Fence Special Board Meeting September 19, 2025 Chairman Smith called the meeting to order. Roll Call noted that Chairman Smith and Supervisor Woehler were present. Supervisor Ste bane came in late due to helping with a car and school bus collision. Clerk/Treasurer Smith was also present. Motion to approve the agenda was made by Supervisor Woehler and with a second from Chairman Smith, the motion carried. All supervisors worked on the proposed 2026 budget. Increases were made in the categories of paving and gravel, clerk expenses. The board members had questions about Forest Crop, delinquent property taxes. The clerk/Treasurer explained that she had gotten numbers of shared Revenue, August Settlement and GTA from the state documents. The clerk also explained what is included into our highway public charges and intergovernmental charges. Blue Ox, Town of Ross and Homestead Joint Road. Motion to set October 10 at 9am for another budget workshop made by Supervisor Woehler and with a second from Supervisor Stebane, the motion was carried.
