2025 October Special Meeting Minutes

Town of Menomonie Special Board Meeting Tuesday October 21, 2025, 6:00pm Town Hall E4055 550th Ave. Menomonie Present: Kent Jackson, Scott Barnhart, Arden McMartin, and Charisse Sutliff Kent called the Special Meeting to Order at 6:00 pm Interviews for Collection Site Employee • The Board Interviewed Kevin Scholfield for the part time Collection Site employee position. • After the interview the Board discussed the interview. Kent made a motion to approve the hiring of Kevin Scholfield, Scott 2nd Carried. • Kent will call and offer him the position; Charisse will meet him at the Hall next week to fill out employment paperwork. Discussion and Decision on Town Joining the WI Retirement System • Charisse presented the Board the WRS manual, joining checklist and answered questions on how the program would work. After discussion, the Board reviewed Resolution 2025-08 Authorization to join the WRS. Kent made a motion to approve Resolution 2025-08, Arden 2nd Carried. Adjourn • Arden made a motion to adjourn at 7:08pm Kent 2nd Carried.
