MINUTES of EXPO-ICE CENTER BOARD MEETING FINANCE SUBCOMMITTEE Wednesday, April 1, 2026 Location: Expo Office – 4921 Expo Drive, Manitowoc Present: PJ Albert, K. Behnke, S. Binversie, R. Kohlbeck, M. Lentz, P. Strouf, R. Zipperer Absent & Excused: M. Plate Absent: Other Expo-Ice Center Board Members Present: J. Hawig, S. Schuette, S. Pinkerton, B. Ullman, R. Voss Others Present: J. Shelton, K. Sitkiewitz Called to Order Meeting called to order – 5:45pm. Minutes Minutes were reviewed from the previous meeting. Motion was made Kohlbeck, seconded by Zipperer to approve the minutes. Motion carried unanimously. Public Comment Vice Chairperson called for public comment three times. No public input was given. Review, Discussion, and Possible Action on the following items for the 2026 Fair: A. 2027 Proposed Budget Motion was made by Behnke, seconded by Zipperer to recommend approval to the board the Entertainment budget of $72,000. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Zipperer, seconded by Strouf to recommend approval to the board the 2027 proposed budget as outlined in the packet. Motion carried unanimously. B. Tri-Bolt Security Contract Motion was made by Behnke, seconded by Zipperer to recommend approval to the board the Tri-Bolt Security Contract included in the committee packet. Motion carried unanimously. C. Policies and Procedures No report. Update and Possible Action on Other Fair Operation Projects and Issues No report.
