VILLAGE BOARD OF CLEVELAND, WISCONSIN TUESDAY, MAY 13, 2025 MINUTES I. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/AGENDA APPROVAL. Village President Jarrod Jackett called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance at 5:02pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the Cleveland Village Hall, 1150 W Washington Ave, Cleveland, Wisconsin. Board Present: Jarrod Jackett, Village President John Ader Rob Burkhard Jon Hoffman Jake Holzwart (arrived 5:39pm, Item II) Becky Paasch Tom Warosh Board Absent: None Staff Present: Stacy Grunwald, Director of Village Services Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Cheryl Kohl was also present. Motion Warosh/Hoffman to approve the agenda as posted; carried without negative vote. II. CLOSED SESSION. Motion Warosh/Burkhard to convene in closed session pursuant to Sec. 19.85 (1) (e), Wis. Stats., where competitive reasons require a closed session to develop strategies and consider the expenditure of public funds (1) consistent with the Tax Increment District No. 2 project plan —(a) request to develop land south of ClearSky Hospital, and (b) request for Village to purchase vacant land on W Washington Ave—Peter Pitts; and (2) request for Village to purchase vacant land on W Washington Ave – Voight Investments Inc. Motion Warosh/Holzwart to at this time decline the opportunity to purchase vacant land owned by Peter Pitts at 1675 W Washington Ave, Cleveland; carried without negative vote. Motion Burkhard/Ader authorizing the Village President and Director of Village Services to respond to and work with Voight Investments Inc within the parameters of the Village Board’s discussion; carried without negative vote.
