SPECIAL MONTHLY MEETING TOWN OF AMHERST PAGE 1 OF 1 December 22, 2025 NOTICE: 2 Postings, Website CALL TO ORDER: At 10:30a.m. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: ROLL CALL: Chairman Spierings, Supervisor Trzebiatowski, Supervisor Lutz, Treasurer Rogers, and Clerk Lea PUBLIC INPUT: 1.) None APPROVAL OF PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES ON REZONING REQUEST: M/S Trzebiatowski/Spierings to approve the Public Hearing Minutes on Rezoning Request for Groshek/Spranger properties. M/C Ayes = 3 APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 10, 2025, TOWN BOARD MONTHLY MEETING: M/S Trzebiatowski/Lutz to approve December 10, 2025, monthly minutes with changes. Add Jacob to Christmas gifts for employees and in Fire & Safety, change tabled to cancelled. M/C Ayes = 3 Treasurer Rogers would like on record that she did not agree with giving a gift certificate to per diem employees (Gary & Brent). Gifts should be for hourly paid employees only. The Town Board asked to put this item on the next agenda in 2026. APPROVAL OF END OF THE YEAR BILLS: Reviewed. TRANSFER OF FUNDS: Budget report was reviewed. M/S Trzebiatowski/Lutz to take money out of contingency fund and put where needed, add LRIP money ($41,432) and add $25,000 to balance needs in budget. M/C Ayes = 3 AGENDA ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING: January 2026 meeting? There will not be a January 2026 meeting unless something pressing comes up. M/S Trzebiatowski/Spierings to give permission to Clerk Lea and Treasurer Rogers to pay any bills that come in January 2026.
