NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION TO VACATE AND DISCONTINUE AN UNDEVELOPED PORTION OF TEN HILLS STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF GAYS MILLS, CRAWFORD COUNTY, WISCONSIN PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village Board of the Village of Gays Mills, Crawford County, Wisconsin, will hold a public hearing on December 1, 20 25, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Gays Mills Community Center, 16381 State Highway 131, Gays Mills, Wisconsin, on the proposed adoption of the resolution herein described. Said resolution proposes the discontinuance and vacation of an undeveloped portion of Ten Hills Street as described below, pursuant to Wis. Stat. sec. 66.1003(4)(a). This resolution was introduced at a Village Board meeting held October 21, 2025. A resolution to vacate and discontinue Ten Hills Street will be considered and acted upon at the regular Village Board meeting being held the same evening. The street which is the subject of this hearing and resolution is more particularly described as follows: A parcel of land 60 .69 feet in width and approximately 47.12 feet in length lying between the intersection of Ten Hills Street and Watermelon Way to the east, the termination of Ten Hills Street to the west, Lot 38 of the First Addition to North Mills to the north, and Outlot 5 of the First Addition to North Mills to the south, all in the Village of Gays Mills, Crawford County, Wisconsin, according to the plat of the First Addition to North Mills. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard at said hearing. A map showing the location of the street proposed to be vacated is available at the Village Hall.
