1 THE VILLAGE OF GAYS MILLS Minutes of a special meeting of the Village Board of Gays Mills held Monday, October 7, 2019, which began at 5:43 p.m. in the Community Commerce Board Room. Village President Harry Heisz called the meeting to order at 5:43 p.m. Roll call was taken with the following present: Harry Heisz, Larry McCarn, Lee Ruegg and Albert Zegiel. Aaron Fortney, Kevin Murray, and Kim Pettit were absent. The board received verification that the agenda was posted in accordance with the open meeting law. The board reviewed the general budget overages and wish list. After discussion McCarn made a motion to keep the truck purchase of $5,000 and street repairs of $5,605. Making the general budget balance at $788,124. Seconded by Zegiel. Motion carried. (This removes - $15,395 of street construction expense, $2,500 for fall clean up, $18,000 for parks mower purchase, and $16,961 for a full-time employee).
