1 THE VILLAGE OF GAYS MILLS Minutes of a special meeting of the Village Board of Gays Mills held Monday, August 22, 2022, which began at 5:00 p.m. at 316 South Gay Street to tour the village sewer plant. Attendance was taken with the following present: Ethan Eitsert, Harry Heisz, Larry McCarn, Kevin Murray, and Lee Ruegg. Josh Kasinskas was absent. Also present from Town and Country Engineering Lisa Twarog and Evan Chambers. Jim Chellevold Director of Public Works was present. The meeting continued in the board room at 5:50 p.m. Reviewed the needs and want of the village to refine sewer facility estimates. The board received verification that the agenda was posted in accordance with the open meeting law. At 6:53 p.m. McCarn made a motion to convene into closed session pursuant to Wisc. State Stat. 19.85 (1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating the purchasing of property. Seconded by Murray. Motion carried. At 7:22 p.m. Murray made a motion to reconvene into open session to act on any decisions made during closed session. Seconded by McCarn. Motion carried. No action was taken.
