1 THE VILLAGE OF GAYS MILLS Minutes of the special meeting of the Village Board of Gays Mills held Monday, April 20, 2026, which began at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Commerce Board Room. Village President Harry Heisz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken with the following present: Harry Heisz, Larry McCarn, Kevin Murray, and Art Winsor. Kim Pettit, Ethan Eitsert and Emily Kinserdahl were absent. Joe Boland was also present. The board received verification that the agenda was posted in accordance with the open meeting law. An estimate was received from StonePro Concrete & Masonry for tear out and replacement of the pool deck for $126,175. Bid includes labor and materials to tear out concrete, dispose of concrete, prep, pour and finish concrete, supply and install drain, sign installation, restoration and seeding. This bid does not include the fence. Bid is based off of seventy-five lineal feet. Murray made a motion to approve the project at the swimming pool, start the process of getting a loan, and would like to see a fundraiser for the swimming pool. Seconded by McCarn. Motion carried. The board discussed the expenses for the sewer replacement project on STH 171 near the Royal Bank and the Wastewater Treatment project. After discussion Murray made a motion to start the process of a Line of Credit for $180,000. Seconded by Winsor. Motion carried. At 6:14 p.m. McCarn made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
