1 THE VILLAGE OF GAYS MILLS Minutes of the special meeting of the Village Board of Gays Mills held Wednesday, February 17, 2021, which began at 6:05 p.m. in the Community Commerce Board Room. Village President Harry Heisz called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. Roll call was taken with the following present: Harry Heisz, Larry McCarn, Kevin Murray, Seamus Murray and Kim Pettit. Aaron Fortney and Lee Ruegg were absent. The board received verification that the agenda was posted in accordance with the open meeting law. Director of Public Works Jim Chellevold updated the board that the sewer lift station (near the Marketplace) pump is being repaired, quote came in at $5,000. At 6:07 p.m. K. Murray made a motion to go into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes 19.85 (1)(e) for the purpose of reviewing the interviews of Engineering Firms and reviewing the information collected from calling project references of each firm. Director of Public Works Jim Chellevold was invited into closed session. Seconded by McCarn. Motion carried. At 6:29 p.m. McCarn made a motion to reconvene into open session. Seconded by K. Murray. Motion carried. K. Murray made a motion to move forward with Town & Country Engineering and explore their availably and interest in the village sewer project. Seconded by McCarn. Motion carried. K.
