1 THE VILLAGE OF GAYS MILLS Minutes of a special meeting of the Village Board of Gays Mills held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, which began at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Commerce Board Room. Roll call was taken with the following present: Ethan Eitsert, Harry Heisz, Emily Kinserdahl, Larry McCarn, Kevin Murray, and Art Winsor. Kim Pettit was absent. The board received verification that the agenda was posted in accordance with the open meeting law. The board discussed the agenda item 601 Ten Hills driveway options and Right- Of-Way Encroachment Agreement. Luke Adams has changed his driveway plan and now needs additional land for the driveway. Vacating and discontinuing the right-of-way will no longer work with a 50/50 split of land due to the fact that he will need more than half of the lot. Right-Of-Way vs. ownership was debated. It was reviewed to give the entire lot to him and agreed that if additional sidewalks need to be removed it would be at his expense. Murray made a motion to deed over the entire lot next to 601 Ten Hills at the villages expense to Luke Adams. Seconded by Winsor. Motion carried.
