1 THE VILLAGE OF GAYS MILLS Minutes of a special meeting of the Village Board of Gays Mills held Wednesday, July 6, 2022, which began at 6:08 p.m. in the Community Commerce Board Room. Village President Harry Heisz called the meeting to order at 6:08 p.m. Roll call was taken with the following present: Ethan Eitsert, Harry Heisz, Larry McCarn, Kevin Murray, and Lee Ruegg. Seamus Murray and Josh Kasinskas were absent. Jim Chellevold Director of Public Works was present. The board received verification that the agenda was posted in accordance with the open meeting law. Board members present said they already went and viewed the site and there was no need to do a site visit during board meeting. Old metal has been picked up and gone. In discussion Jim Chellevold suggested and agreed on the end of August for the public works building cleanup items and the rest of the sewer plant cleanup items with personal items to be removed on his own time. K. Murray made a motion to have items listed for the sewer plant and public works buildings cleaned up and personal items removed by the end of August. Seconded by Eitsert. All in favor. Motion carried. - 1) Sewer Plant clean-up / date changed to end of August - 2) Royal Avenue shop clean-up / date changed to end of August - 3) Main Street shop clean-up / end of August - 4) Metal/Equipment clean-up / end of August Update for board members that Smiley’s will be removing the trees behind the cemetery. K. Murray made a motion to adjourn meeting at 6:35 p.m. Seconded by McCarn. Motion carried. APPROVED 07-11-2022
