Airport Commission Meeting — Minutes

AIRPORT COMMISSION NEILLSVILLE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT N3770 MILLER A VENUE, NEILLSVILLE, WI 54456 MONDAY SEPTEMBER 14, 2026 4:30 P.M. Chair Donna Pavlac called the meeting to order. On roll call present: Chair Donna Pavlac, City Administrator/Director of Public Works Luke Friemoth, Dewayne Seelow, Mandy Krejci and Bob Petkovsek via telephone Also present: Airport Manager Jeffery Gaier Motion Krejci, second Friemoth, to approve the previous meeting minutes. All Aye. Appearances: None Discussion and Action on the 2027 Airport Budget: Friemoth went over the current status of the 2026 budget; we are not over budget on anything and with the dry year mowing and grounds care has been kept to a minimum. The new budget will include retirement and social security costs added to payroll. Friemoth recommended cutting Airport Grounds Care $294.00 or offset the same increase in Airport Management Services. Motion Friemoth, second Seelow, to approve the budget. All aye. Discussion followed on the Agricultural Lease of the airport land. The Commission reviewed the current contract. No action was taken. Discussion followed on the Hangar Leases. The Commission discussed the hangar land rental fees that saw an increase last year. No action was taken. Jeffery Gaier updated the Commission on the status of the approved Snow Removal Equipment. The Bureau of Aeronautics has approved the bids and equipment for several other airports and anticipates that our project will be approved soon as well. There were some challenges with the bid approval process that caused delays; however, those issues have since been resolved. We are now awaiting final approval from the Bureau of Aeronautics.
