Finance Committee Meeting — Minutes

FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING CITY HALL MONDAY, JULY 27, 2026 2:30 P.M. The Finance Committee met in the Council Room of City Hall, Mayor Poeschel presiding. On roll call: Rolly Gelhaus, Bill Neville, Barb Petkovsek and Dan Clough. Absent: Donna Pavlac. Also Present: Administrator/Director of Public Works Luke Friemoth The minutes of the previous meeting were declared approved. Mayor Poeschel called for appearances – there were none. Discussion and directions for the 2027 budgeting process. The Committee consensus was to put health & dental insurance, Wisconsin Retirement System benefits, federal withholding and other fringe benefit costs to each department. Also discussed was to have each department head build a 3–5-year capital expenditure plan. Discussion followed on setting the next Finance Committee Meeting date. Motion Gelhaus, second Neville to schedule the meeting for Tuesday September 8, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. All Aye. Motion Gelhaus, second Neville, to adjourn.
