February minutes

Town of Nekimi Town Board Meeting February 21, 2018 Present: Glen Barthels, Larry Schweda, Tom Pollack, Jessica Potratz, Robert Keller, and Kelsey Barthels. The Town Board Meeting was called to order by Chairman Barthels at 7:00 P.M. Supervisor Schweda moved to approve January minutes. 2nd by Supervisor Pollack. Carried 3-0. The Treasurer’s Report was presented by Clerk Barthels. Zoning: Winnebago County Chapter 23 Text Amendment discussed, Jeff Sanders recommendation presented by Clerk Barthels. Supervisor Pollack moved to approve Chapter 23 Text Amendment. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Winnebago County Chapter 27 Text Amendment discussed, Jeff Sanders recommendation presented by Clerk Barthels. Supervisor Pollack moved to approve Chapter 27 Text Amendment. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Buehring CSM- Land Surveyor presented proposed CSM to combine 10 parcels into 4 parcels and will stay zoned A1. Town of Nekimi Plan Commission made recommendation to approve CSM. Discussion held by Town Board. Supervisor Pollack moved to accept Buehring CSM. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Waccholz CSM- No one present to present CSM. Clerk Barthels informed Town Board of Town of Nekimi Plan Commission recommendation to approve CSM with conditions, conditions being that the parcel be made into 5 acres instead of 4 acres, and then it would stay zoned A2. Discussion by Town Board. Supervisor Pollack moved to accept CSM with conditions that parcel be created into 5 acres and remain zoned A2. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Supervisor Schweda moved to pay January bills. 2nd by Supervisor Pollack. Carried 3-0. Old Business: Road Conditions: No discussion. New Business: Plan Commission: Chairman Barthels moved to appoint Travis Duchatschek as the Town of Nekimi Plan Commission Chair. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Per Diem Pay Rate for Plan Commission Members: Supervisor Pollack moved to set pay rate at $40 per diem for Plan Commission members. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Nekimi Avenue Bridge Project Public Involvement Presentation: Andy Clemp from Gremmer Associates presented future bridge construction project to start in 2019. Discussed the options for a Drip Edge, Right of Way- no easements will be needed, the asphalt and gravel minimal thickness. The proposed project is set to start in May 2019. Open Book and Board of Review Dates: Supervisor Pollack moved to set the Open Book date for April 26, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 PM and the Board of Review for May 12, 2018 from 8:00-10:00 AM. 2nd by Chairman Barthels. Carried 3-0. Supervisor Pollack made a motion to adjourn. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0.
