December 21, 2015 Meeting Minutes

Town of Nekimi Monthly Board Meeting December 21, 2015 Present: Glen Barthels, Larry Schweda, Tom Pollack, Jessica Potratz and Kelsey Barthels. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Barthels at 7:30 PM. Supervisor Schweda moved to approve the November minutes as presented. 2nd by Supervisor Pollack. Carried 3-0. Treasurer’s Report was presented. Zoning: Act on the Following: CSM for Jeffrey and Julie Leichtfuss, Parcel # 012-0424 and Cullen and Jamie Raasch, Parcel # 012-0424- 01. Supervisor Pollack made a motion to approve CSM for above parcels. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Open Forum for Public Comments: Supervisor Pollack moved to pay November bills, 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carred 3-0. Old Business: Road Conditions- A resident mentioned a culvert that needs repair, questioning if it is the Town of Eldorado’s responsibility. Discussed plan to do cold mix patching on Clairville Rd and Ripple Rd to fill in pot holes. Comprehensive Plan Update- Chairman Barthels made a motion to do the abbreviated plan update. 2nd by Supervisor Pollack. Carried 3-0. “MS4” Storm water Permit- Discussed picking dates to meet with Attorney Parmentier and engineering firm. Wednesday mornings will work, and clerk will work on setting up a meeting. New Business: Final 2015 Budget- Discussed amount of money left in 2015 budget. Chairman Barthels made a motion to spend $12,000 on cracksealing to Fahrner, to pay off rest of highway interest loan, $1000 to be spent on new town computer, and $2000 to go towards new office furniture. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Bathroom remodel at Town Hall mentioned. Internet Service Provider- Chairman Barthels made a motion to set up internet service with AT & T , cancel with NTD and Yodercom. 2nd by Supervisor Pollack. Carried 3-0. Approve 2016 & 2017 Election Inspectors- Supervisor Pollack made a motion to approve list of election inspectors for 2016 and 2017. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Comments on Agenda Topics: Supervisor Pollack moved to adjourn meeting. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0.
