November 16, 2015 Meeting Minutes

Town of Nekimi Monthly Board Meeting November 16, 2015 Present: Glen Barthels, Larry Schweda, Tom Pollack, Jessica Potratz and Kelsey Barthels. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Barthels at 7:30 PM. Supervisor Schweda moved to approve the October minutes as presented. 2nd by Supervisor Pollack. Carried 3-0. Treasurer’s Report was presented. Zoning: Act on the Following: Zoning Map Amendment- Wachholz, Nekimi Ave, Parcel 012-0250-01. Supervisor Pollack made a motion to approve zoning amendment for Wachholz, Nekimi Ave, Parcel 012-0250-01. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. CSM for Owens Farm Properties LLC, Parcels 012-0584-01, and 012-0584-03. Supervisor Pollack made a motion to approve CSM for Owens Farm Properties. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Open Forum for Public Comments: Supervisor Schweda moved to pay October bills, 2nd by Supervisor Pollack. Carred 3-0. Old Business: Road Conditions- Discussed liability issue of Oshkosh Corp. testing trucks on town roads, and town would like to look into requesting a route plan or courses, so if there is road destruction then Oshkosh Corp. could be charged, or roads can be made stronger prior to use. Chairman Barthels to discuss with Oshkosh Corp further. Fire Signs- Almost all are put up. Comprehensive Plan Update- Chairman Barthels made a motion to contact OMNNI to do plan update. 2nd by Supervisor Pollack. Carried 3-0. “MS4” Storm water Permit- Discussed picking an engineering firm to help complete permit plan and will work with Attorney’s engineering firm of choice to move forward. Property on South Clay Road- No one present with concerns. New Business: Approve Action Appraisers Contract Agreement for 2016-2017- Supervisor Pollack moved to accept Action Appraisers Contract Agreement of $10,300 per year for the years 2016 and 2017 . 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. 2016 Per Capita Funding- Supervisor Pollack made a motion to allocate funds to the City of Omro. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Approve Insurance for 2016- Discussed quotes for town insurance from Horton Group and Community Insurance. Supervisor Pollack made a motion to approve bid from Horton Group for 2016 town insura nce. 2nd by Chairman Barthels. Carried 3-0. Approve 2016 Budget- Supervisor Pollack made a motion to approve the 2016 budget. 2 nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Comments on Agenda Topics: Supervisor Pollack moved to adjourn meeting. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0.
