Town of Nekimi Monthly Board Meeting August 17, 2015 Present: Glen Barthels, Larry Schweda, Tom Pollack, Jessica Potratz and Kelsey Barthels. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Barthels at 7:30 PM. Supervisor Schweda moved to approve the July minutes as presented. 2nd by Supervisor Pollack. Carried 3-0. Treasurer’s Report was presented. Supervisor Schweda moved to pay July bills, 2nd by Supervisor Pollack. Carred 3-0. Old Business: Road Conditions- Nekimi Ave and Clay Rd have been pulverized, and are ready to be sealed. A culvert is done on Clay Rd, near County Rd Z. There is about $160,000 left in the road budget, and the county will be doing repairs and will use about $100,000 of the remaining. The town will be getting an estimate for crack sealing. The intersection on County Rd N and Old Knapp is still being worked on. Fire Signs- The fire signs have been sorted, and are being put up. Update Website- Photos will be taken by Chairman Barthels for the new website, also hoping to put events on a calendar on the website. Lakeside Playground Donation- Supervisor Pollack made a motion to not donate to the Lakeside playground. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. New Business: Budget Items 2016- Discussed budget items for 2016 to include: landscaping at the Town Hall, bathroom remodel at the Town Hall, and possibly new computers. Comments on Agenda Topics: Supervisor Pollack moved to adjourn meeting. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0.
