Town of Nekimi Monthly Board Meeting May 18, 2015 Present: Glen Barthels, Larry Schweda, Tom Pollack, and Kelsey Barthels. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Barthels at 7:30 PM. Supervisor Schweda moved to approve the April Minutes as presented. 2nd by Supervisor Pollack. Carried 3-0. Treasurer’s Report was presented. Zoning: Discussed Zoning Map Amendment for Ronald Wachholz- Parcel 012-0250. Ronald Wachholz has asked the town to accept zoning change from A2 to I1. Chairman Barthels moved to accept zoning map amendment, 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0. Supervisor Pollack moved to pay April bills, 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carred 3-0. Old Business: Road Conditions- Discussed and reviewed cost estimates of multiple town roads needing repair. Will start repairing Nekimi Ave. (CTH I to Knapp), Ripple Road (Poberezny to Waupun), and Fisk Avenue (East of Clay) first. Fire Signs- Discussed putting up fire signs, need for letter written to residents, and also gui deline for installing them in ground. Chairman Barthels to contact Diggers Hotline. New Business: Discussed Local Government Property Insurance Fund Rate Increase. Comments on Agenda Topics: Robert Keller, District 32 County Board Supervisor, announced that the Glatz property on County Road N will be presented to the County Board for a zoning change from A1 to A2 on May 19, 2015. On Wednesday night, May 20, 2015, the Winnebago County Aviation Committee is having a meeting at the Coughlin Center on County Rd Y from 5-7 PM to discuss the engineer’s design of the new terminal. Supervisor Pollack moved to adjourn meeting. 2nd by Supervisor Schweda. Carried 3-0.
