Town of Nekimi Monthly Board Meeting October 20, 2014 Present: Glen Barthels, Larry Schweda, Jessica Potratz and Julie Barthels. Excused: Tom Pollack The town board meeting was called to order by Chairman Barthels at 7:30 p.m. Schweda moved to approve the September minutes as presented. 2nd by Barthels. Carried 2-0. Treasurer’s Report was presented. Zoning: A Zoning Change for Kevin and Cheryl Messerschmidt and Aaron and Renee Dahlke was presented to change from R-1/A-2 to R-1 for Parcel #012-0287, 012-0287-02 & 012-0287-03. Schweda moved to accept the zoning change as presented. 2nd by Barthels. Carried 2-0. It was reported to the Board that the Rhyner Property, the northeast corner of State Road 26 and County Road N, will be annexed in to the City of Oshkosh. Barthels moved to pay September bills. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 2-0. Old Business: Road Conditions – Discussed the road conditions around the Township including the corner of Fisk and Washburn. Fahrner will be crack sealing roads in the Township. Discussed condition of Old Knapp Road. A resident questioned snow plowing in the Township, when certain roads are plowed. Parcels in the Omro School District – Nothing new. New Business: Act377 – loH Legislation – A meeting will be held on October 22, 2014 at the Highway Department regarding lighting and weight of farm equipment on the roads and semi trucks on roads. 2015 Budget Items – The Clerk asked for items that needed to be placed on the budget. The budget hearing will be November 17, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Nekimi Town Hall. Schweda moved to adjourn the meeting. 2nd by Barthels. Carried 2-0. Respectfully Submitted, Julie Barthels, Clerk
