Town of Nekimi Monthly Board Meeting September 15, 2014 Present: Glen Barthels, Larry Schweda, Tom Pollack, Jessica Potratz and Julie Barthels. The town board meeting was called to order by Chairman Barthels at 7:30 p.m. Schweda moved to approve the August minutes as presented. 2nd by Pollack. Carried 3-0. Treasurer’s Report was presented. Zoning: A Certified Survey Map was presented for approval for Kevin and Cheryl Messerschmidt and Aaron and Renee Dahlke for parcel nos. 012-0287, 012-0287-02 & 012-0287-03. Schweda moved to approve the CSM as presented. 2nd by Pollack. Carried 3-0. A Certified Survey Map for Ronald and Linda Wachholz was presented by Dennis Green for approval for parcel no. 012-0621 & 012-0622. The Town of Nepeuskun was listed on the CSM. Pollack moved to approve the CSM as presented with the condition that the Township name be changed to Nekimi from Nepeuskun and that the Town Clerk follow up on this. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 3-0. A Conditional Use Permit was presented by Jim Thompson / Thistle Dairy for parcel nos. 012-0643, 012-0641, 012-0648, 012-0649, 012-0632, 012-0633, 012-0634-01, 012-0647-01, 012-0650, 012-0650-01, 012-0653-01 and 012-0653-01-01. It was brought to the attention of the board that all DNR and State permits are passed and current. Pollack moved to grant the Conditional Use Permit as presented with the condition that all DNR and State permits are passed and current. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 2-0. Barthels recused himself from discussion. Schweda moved to pay August bills. 2nd by Pollack. Carried 3-0. Old Business: Road Conditions – Discussed the road conditions around the Township including the corner of Fisk and Washburn and shoulders on Poberezny Road. Discussed using remainder of 2014 budget money to order fire number signs. The Clerk will check with Lange Enterprises to see what colors are available. Aviation Park – This item will be removed from the agenda. Parcels in the Omro School District – This item will be kept on the agenda until issue is solved. New Business: Intergovernmental Agreement to Satisfy Eligibility for Recycling Consolidation Grant for Calendar Year 2015 – Pollack moved to approve the recycling agreement. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 3-0. Winnebago County Highway & Town of Nekimi Maintenance Agreement – Schweda moved to approve the agreement between the Winnebago County Highway Department and the Town of Nekimi. 2nd by Pollack. Carried 3-0 Winnebago County Emergency Management Hazard Mitigation Plan – Pollack moved to sign the Emergency Mitigation Plan. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 3-0. 2015 Budget Items – The Clerk alerted the Board that a new voting machine needs to be added to the 2015 Budget. Pollack moved to adjourn the meeting. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 3-0.
