Town of Nekimi Monthly Board Meeting April 21, 2014 Present: Glen Barthels, Larry Schweda, Tom Pollack, Jessica Potratz and Julie Barthels. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Barthels at 7:30 p.m. Schweda moved to approve the March minutes as presented. 2nd by Pollack. Carried 3-0. Treasurer’s Report was presented. Zoning: A public hearing will be held regarding the conditional use permit for Michels Materials before the next town board meeting. A Certified Survey map revision for Joe Marx and the WI DOT was presented to the board for Parcel #012-0095-02 & #012-0095-02-02. Barthels moved to accept the CSM as presented. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 3-0. Schweda moved to pay March bills. 2nd by Pollack. Carried 3-0. Old Business: Road Conditions – Discussed the road conditions around the Township. Decided winter weather conditions took a toll on all roads. Road check will be April 30th or May 1st. Chairman will check with the Highway Department. Aviation Park – Nothing to report. Adopt a Highway – Nothing to report. New Business: Cellular Tower – Guy Stewart discussed a proposed cellular tower on the northeast corner of West Ripple and Clay Road. This would be a 55 foot permanent tower for Verizon. A conditional use permit is scheduled for hearing the end of May at the County level. Phone and Internet Service for Town – The clerk checked with Northern Telephone and Data and AT&T. Discussed the Poll Workers Salary. Discussed parcels that are currently in the Omro School District that shouldn’t be. Pollack moved to adjourn the meeting. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 3-0. Respectfully Submitted, Julie Barthels, Clerk
