Town of Nekimi Budget Hearing November 17, 2014 The November 17, 2014 Town of Nekimi Budget Meeting was called to order by Chairman Glen Barthels at 7:00 p.m. Board Members Present: Glen Barthels, Tom Pollack, Larry Schweda, Julie Barthels and Jessica Potratz. The proposed budget was presented by the Town Clerk to the board and residents that were present. Motion by John McBrair to approve the 2015 Town Budget for the Town of Nekimi. 2nd by Frank Sanchez. Motion Carried. The Budget meeting was adjourned. The Special Town Meeting of Electors was called to order by Chairman Glen Barthels. Motion by Jessica Potratz for the approval of highway spending equal to the 2015 budget in the amount of $221,250.00 pursuant to Section 80.01(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes. 2nd by John McBrair. Motion Carried. Motion by Glen Barthels for the approval of additional highway spending above the 2014 budget in the amount of $250.00 pursuant to Section 80.01(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes. 2nd by Larry Schweda. Motion Carried. Motion by Larry Schweda to adopt a Town tax levy of $192,829.00 for 2014 to be paid in 2015 pursuant to Section 60.10(a) of Wisconsin Statutes. 2nd by Glen Barthels. Motion Carried.
